Once again, we are settling in to watch Guliver's Travels....and hopefully finish it this time.

Last night, we settled in but the night ended up looking like this....


....because we ended up here.....


....with these great friends!

This huge dude decided to join us via the e-grass window.


We kept hearing a noise outside in the window...and found Elizabeth (as the girls named her) trying to jump out.

Breck was the only brave sole to pick her up!


p.s. We DID get to finish the movie! ;)

Our rainy day consisted of the following activities:
-watercolor ice cream cones



-bike ride in the rain
-homemade pizza for supper
-homemade brownies for desert...and shared with the neighbors
-"blanket swinging"...see Brooks' facebook video "what we do in our spare time"
...and now we are settling in for a little Guliver's Travels from Redbox

oh yeah, these festive flowers are bringing some sunshine to our kitchen table :)
