...seems to be the theme of my life this past week.

God has presented this to me in various conversations and books throughout the past week
....or several weeks.

I find myself getting so caught up in what has to be done that I forget to stop enjoy all that God has blessed me with. Those little "hindrances" that seem to get in the way some days....I need to change my perspective and be thankful that they are in my life. My MOTTT's group is currently reading thru Becoming More than a good Bible study girl by Lysa Terkeurst....phenomenal book, by the way! She challenges us to be thankful for the little things.

Here is a peak at my "thanksgiving" list:

• Having a husband and children who want to help.....it's ok if they don't do things exactly the way I would.
• Three beautiful, giggly girls who love me...even if they do jump on my lap as soon as I sit down and are constantly talking. They do it because they love me!...not just to be in my face.

I am reminded to be thankful for the messes that I find myself always tidying up.

Thankful for the shoes laying by the front door.

The coats, hats, gloves, backpacks that don't always get hung up on the coat rack.

The beds that don't get made every morning.

The constant talking while I'm trying to read.

It's not always about me!!! The season I am in right now, is a season that will all too quickly pass. Soak in every memory you can...and enjoy it while your living it!

We need to be thankful for the little things.

...an extra hour of sleep.

...that wonderful giggle every time you touch her neck.

...bedtime kisses.

Yikes!!!

We cleaned out the girls' bedrooms and our playroom this afternoon!

We got rid of:

• 1 bag of trash
• 1 bag to Goodwill
• several things that will make it to "New To You"

...and way to much of this:

Holy Cats!

Between the three girls, they still have all this left over from Trick or Treating and Christmas.

Not looking forward to adding more to the stash after V-Day!

If we've got snow, we might as well enjoy it!

Taylor looks a bit uncomfortable here, but she had so much fun!
She may have had more fun than all the rest of us combined!
We started out with her sharing a tube with mommy...by the end of the day, Kaicee and I were sharing a tube so Tot could go by herself ;)

It's always more fun with friends!

Breck was more of an observer at first....after a little coaxing, we got her speeding down those hills. I'm pretty sure she just about took Taylor out at one point!

I love this girl!
Taylor and I got the giggle-fits:
...we were trying to stuff ourselves into two tubes stacked on top of each other. My hiney was inside the tubes, arms and legs sticking out...
Taylor lets go and I start sliding down the hill.
I grab her arm and somehow manage to hoist her on top of me...neither of us can see where we are going! Luckily, no one got in our way!

What a great day!

...and no better way to end it, than with some homemade hot chocolate!

A little {crafty} sidenote:

...made completely from tp tubes, by the one and only Breckyton*!

*This is a nickname that Breck gave herself while playing "I Spy" a few years back....and it has just stuck;)

I found these in the dollar bins at Target and dressed them up with some scraps I found laying around the craft room. {the girls gave these to their teachers for Christmas}

My view that I have been trying to diligently entertain daily.

I would much rather run outside...but the snow keeps me in.

Nothing like a good book to curl up with on a cold, wintery day!

Today was a productive day (yay!):

played in the snow

sheets washed and beds made

bathrooms cleaned

house swept and dusted

floors mopped

four loads of laundry washed and dried

...put away in process

coffee/hot chocolate with the girls

preschool "homework"

piano practice

books (lots of books) read with my girls

....updated my blog!

It. Is. A. Good. Day!!!

I just got on my laptop to write a new post....

Yay for me!

I spent most of my day at the most relaxing place in town. Enjoyed some quiet with my hubby while enjoying this yummy lunch and then got a ton of work done! I think I could go to the coffee shop everyday! Sent from Yahoo! Mail on Android

CanItReallyBeThisHard?!??

Ok. So I realize it's been a very long time since I have posted.
I really would like to stay up to date!
....I promise!

I just spent most of my evening, bringing myself up to date on all my favorite blogs.
I am inspired....
and hope to do a better job!

I now have a smart phone.
I would love to quickly add photos from my phone....
but I can't figure out how to do it!
I thought I knew how to do it....
but every time I try to send something, it doesn't work :(
I have added the App,
changed the settings to add an email to send it to,
...everything I can think of.

Every time I use the App, it tells me I don't have an account,
but I do!

And don't get me started on email changes....Seriously!
I have a new email account and blogger will not let me change my address.

I switched from Yahoo! to gmail....
it keeps saying that I can't use a gmail account for my primary email.
...isn't Blogger a Google account?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am such a tech-tard...I don't have a clue what I am doing.

Am I gonna to have start a new blog with my new email address?
Maybe this is a great time to start fresh?!!!

Any help would be great!
